Astera’s goal is to empower visionary, high-leverage science and technology projects with the capacity to create transformative progress for human civilization. This company focuses on four main areas: longevity, AGI, metascience, and frontier engineering, aiming to support critical, fundamental research in each of them. Its current projects include Obelisk, a system that seeks to use the human brain as a model for artificial intelligence, and Rejuvenome, which intends to use combination therapies to treat multiple aspects of aging at once.
