Center for Aging and Longevity Studies

Organization Description

The Center for Aging and Longevity Studies (CALS) is a collaborative effort that brings together researchers, scholars, and educators from various fields to improve the quality of life for older adults. They focus on increasing healthspan, addressing age-related illnesses, promoting the well-being of aging individuals, and exploring the societal implications of longer lifespans. Faculty affiliated with CALS are drawn from a diverse range of academic departments, institutes, and programs within the College of Letters and Science, the College of Engineering, and the Division of Social Sciences and Humanity and Fine Arts. CALS aims to expand our understanding of aging, provide educational opportunities for students, and engage with the community to support older populations.
